Wow, this guide is a step above my current level. I just put a solar sensor outside my house that turns my heat up two degrees using a modern thermostat once the clouds come out. It's nice that LCD screens are getting much cheaper and easier to get your hands on for fun projects like this.

As a relative newbie to robotics who has just bought the SPFD5408, this article was most helpful. I bought one of these LCD screens because I heard they were great for displaying sensor data. This is something that is paramount to my understanding of how well my robot will function. I want the LCD screen to display data from the 15 sensors on my robot. This guide spelled out exactly how to use the screen with concise and clear instructions.
